45ml Juniper Freak
30ml Lemon Juice
30ml Blueberry Ginger Syrup
Soda to top
Add ingredients to your preferred shaker, shake with plenty of ice.
Double strain into a collins glass, top off with soda and garnish with fresh blueberries.
To make syrup:
125 grams of blueberries (about 1 punnet)
1 cup of sugar
1/2 cup of water
50 grams of finely sliced ginger
1. Lightly crush blueberries with a muddler in a small pot then add suger, water and ginger.
2. Gently bring to a simmer while stirring the mixture and hold for 15-20 minutes.
3. Let the mixture steep and cool
4. Strain and bottle
Makes approx 1 cup, keeps refrigerated for up to 4 weeks.
